Love’s Farm House is hosting a portrait challenge! We want to see the Faces of St Neots in all their diversity: young, old, black, white, happy, sad. It might be a painting, drawing, photo, digital illustration, collage… anything goes, as long as it fits on an A4 page (portrait orientation) and is suitable for display in our foyer. Self-portraits are welcome but we don’t want quick selfies: think about how to capture your (or your subject’s) personality.
Portraits must be a single face of someone from St Neots, head and shoulders only. Drop your submissions off at Love’s Farm House (Mon-Fri 9am-3pm) or email digital images to ben@lovesfarmhouse.co.uk. Please include your name and contact info, plus the name of your subject (with their permission). The deadline is 29 March.
You can create your portrait at any time, but if you’re looking for inspiration, join us for a Portrait Workshop on Saturday 16 March, 3:30-5:30pm at Love’s Farm House. We’ll have artists, designers and photographers on hand to help you create your masterpiece. Adults and children are all welcome and there’s no need to book – just drop in, and don’t forget to bring a friend or family member to use as your subject.
All portraits will be exhibited at Love’s Farm House in April, kicking off with a launch event on Saturday 6 April. A few of the best portraits will remain on display in our foyer for a longer period.
