Love’s Farm House Will Reopen on 12 April

We are excited to confirm that Love’s Farm House will be reopening on Monday 12 April 2021.

Initially we can only reopen for activities which are permitted under Step 2 of the Government’s Roadmap – children’s activities (including children’s exercise and dance classes), parent and child groups, support groups and Breakfast Church.

Unfortunately that means you’ll have to hold off on organising a birthday party in the building for now, though we are happy to take provisional party bookings from 21 June 2021 onwards. We hope to be able to welcome back adult exercise classes from 17 May, with the bar, cafe, events, parties and private hire following later in the summer.

All sessions need to be booked in advance while restrictions remain in place. Check out our What’s On Page for our April timetable and details of how to book your space. You can also find further information on our Facebook Page.

Covid-19 safety measures remain in place throughout the building, including extra cleaning, hand sanitiser points and a one-way system, so please take a little time when you arrive to familiarise yourself with the new layout. Don’t forget your face covering, as these remain compulsory in Community Centres. Most of all, be kind to each other as we all get to grips with the new arrangements.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a HUGE thank you to St Neots Town Council, who provided funding to enable us to upgrade the hot water system at Love’s Farm House when a routine Legionella Risk Assessment identified that the water tanks were no longer heating up to the temperature required to kill legionella bacteria.

This could have caused a major delay to reopening the building, but thanks to funding from the Town Council’s Grant Aid Scheme we were able to carry out the remedial work while the building was closed for the national lockdown, meaning that we are now able to reopen on schedule, in line with the Government’s Roadmap. Thank you St Neots Town Council!

We’re looking forward to welcoming our customers back from Monday 12 April and hope that Love’s Farm House will be able to take its place as the hub of the Love’s Farm community once more.
