unnamed

Join us on Friday 9 March, 7:30pm for the launch of our seventh exhibition by local artists. Children (accompanied by a parent or carer) welcome until 9pm.

Melina La Firenze is an artist living and working in St Neots, born in Italy and brought up in London. She is self-taught and has been a painter all her life, starting with oils at age 12. Her paintings have been exhibited in London, Barcelona and Salamanca.

He work is often informed by patterns found in nature. The colours vibrant. She is obsessed with trees. One thing that is consistent about her work is that she never paints the same thing twice. This is a collection of brand new paintings, three of which are derivative portraits of Hans Silvester’s photos of Omo valley tribes people and two of which are a playful celebration of colour and pattern. Melina does work on commission including portraits.
