Back to School Disco

Get your tickets from Ti.to tickets.

What better way to celebrate a new school year than with a Back to School Disco on Saturday 2nd September from 5pm-9pm. No school uniforms required!

We’ll entertain the kids with games and crafts, so parents can recover from being run off their feet all summer with a well-deserved drink at the bar. There will be cheesy hits for all ages, so get practising your best Dad dancing! If you’re peckish, Love’s Farm’s own Little Dutch Bites will be selling their poffertjes (mini Dutch pancakes) in the garden, and we’ll have extra treats and snacks on sale too.

Tickets cost £3 per person (babies under 1 are free). All children must be accompanied by a parent or carer, who must have their own ticket.

It’s finally summer and school’s out for six whole weeks! We’ll be kicking off the summer holidays in true Love’s Farm House style with a family disco on Saturday 22nd July from 5pm-9pm.

We’ll be dusting off the summer playlist, switching on the disco lights and providing lots of holiday fun for everyone, so bring the whole family. There will be games for the children and Silver Rock Designs will be providing craft activities to keep them occupied. We’ll be selling ice lollies and other snacks to keep you cool, and of course the bar will be open so parents can relax with a drink while the kids have fun.

Tickets cost £3 per person (babies under 1 are free). All children must be accompanied by a parent or carer, who must have their own ticket. Get your tickets here!

And the winner of Hunts Forum’s Trustee of the Year Award is…Maria Russo of Love’s Farm House!

We knew she was amazing, and now the whole of Huntingdonshire does too! Huge congratulations to Maria Russo, Vice-Chair of the Trustees of Love’s Farm House, who won Trustee of the Year at Hunts Forum’s Volunteer Awards 2023!

Maria is involved in almost every area of Love’s Farm House. She leads the Events Team, organising all the discos, shows and other events our community loves so much. She runs the Lazy Breakfast Cafe and can usually be found here on a Saturday morning serving up pastries and sausage rolls. Maria also leads the Garden Team, keeping our lovely outside space looking great, and she gets involved in all sorts of other issues from recruiting volunteers, to supporting staff, to trying to work out how to minimise our utility bills!

Love’s Farm House quite literally could not function without Maria, and as a Trustee she does all of this work on a completely voluntary basis. We are so pleased that her contribution has been recognised with this very well-deserved award! Congratulations Maria!

Love’s Farm House Goes to Wimbledon

Wimbledon Men’s Finals Screening, Sunday 16th July 1.30-5.30pm (or match finish)

What better way to kick off the summer season than with strawberries & cream and a spot of tennis? We’ll be showing the Wimbledon Men’s Final on the big screen at Love’s Farm House on Sunday 16th July. Doors open at 1.30pm, the tennis starts at 2pm, last orders will be 5.30pm and the building will be open until the end of the match.

This is a FREE event and there’s no need to book a ticket. Just drop in for as long or as little as you like. The cafe will be open, selling all the Wimbledon favourites – strawberries & cream, scones, Pimms and Prosecco – plus our usual great selection of hot drinks, soft drinks, bottled beers, cakes and snacks.

Weather permitting, we’ll open the garden for non-tennis fans to have a cake and a catch-up in the sunshine.

Children are welcome, but must be supervised by a parent or carer at all times.
