The Christmas holidays are relatively quiet at Love’s Farm House, with our regular groups, classes and cafés taking a well-earned break. However we have some extra activities that we really hope you can join us for.
Christmas Cheers at the Farm House Bar
Friday 22 December, 7:30pm
Join friends (or make some new ones) for a quiet Christmas tipple at your local. We’ll be serving mulled wine and mince pies and challenging ourselves to unearth the best and worst Christmas songs. Mild, obedient children (accompanied by an adult) welcome until 9pm.
Breakfast Church Christmas Carol Service
Sunday 24 December, 4-5pm
The Breakfast Church team will host a Christmas Eve event at Love’s Farm House with lots of carols, Christmas lights and nibbles. Children are welcome to come dressed as a shepherd, king or queen, angel or Christmas super-hero to help retell the Christmas story – surely the best story ever! Everyone is welcome.
Great Get Together Christmas Lunch
Monday 25 December, 1pm
On Christmas morning Breakfast Church will meet at 10am for a short Christmas service. Afterwards the team will host a Great Get Together Christmas lunch from 1pm. Everyone is warmly welcome to either or both! Please contact Helene, community chaplain on 07938 803501 or email@example.com to book a place for the Christmas meal. Events are free of charge but donations are welcome on the day.
Thursday 28 December, 6:30pm
Join Emma for bingo Love’s Farm style. £1 per person (mininum 10 games) and lots of yummy chocolate up for grabs. Will it be Pick and Mix 26 or Overweight 28? Please visit http://www.facebook.com/ourlovesfarm and join the Facebook event so Emma knows how many prizes to order.
New Year’s Day Brunch
Monday 1 January, 11am – 1pm
Join the Lazy Breakfast team for a late morning medley of comfort food, soothing live music and craft activities to keep the kids entertained. We’ll be serving fry-ups, bacon butties and pastries, plus the usual selection of posh coffees, speciality teas and luxurious hot chocolates. Veggie, vegan and gluten-free catered for. As an added treat there’ll be live music from our resident ivory tickler Chris Hatt, playing soothing jazz and the odd request (no fast tempos please). Bring your own bean bag!
