Love’s Farm House plays host to baby and toddler groups, youth clubs, exercise classes and much more besides, but at 7:30pm every Friday night it turns into the Farm House Bar. We have a great selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks at reasonable prices. Children (accompanied by a carer) are welcome until 9pm. There are lots of extra activities to keep you entertained, too…
Karaoke at the Farm House Bar
The first Friday of each month is Karaoke Night. We have 1,280 songs from A-ha to Zayn, a superb sound system and disco lights, plus lyrics projected onto our cinema screen so everyone can join in for the choruses. With impromptu breakdance battles and outbreaks of interpretive dance, Karaoke at the Farm House Bar is an experience like no other.
Games Night
The second Friday of the month is Games Night. Come with friends or make some new ones. We have table tennis, Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit, Risk, chess, backgammon, draughts and Taboo, or bring your own game – we’re always up for something new.
St Neots Film Club
On the third Friday of the month, the Farm House Bar is open as normal, while the hall is host to St Neots Film Club. Recent films include Inception, Groundhog Day and an evening of silent films accompanied by live music. 8pm start, £2.50 entry fee, and stick around afterwards for our post-film discussion.
LFCA Quiz Night
The last Friday of the month is Quiz Night. We take it in turns to write and host the quiz, so whether you’re an expert on the reproductive cycle of the natterjack toad or who’s dating who in Hollyoaks, you’ve probably got as much chance as anyone else. It’s £1 to play, with teams of up to six people. Don’t have a team? There’s always one you can join, and it’s a great chance to meet your neighbours.
Farm House Gallery
We have a rolling programme of art exhibitions on the walls of our bar area. Our current exhibition is by photographer Nigel Northwood. Visit us throughout March to see his series of photos of abandoned buildings. Please get in touch if you’d like to stage your own exhibition.
LFCA Socials
These informal get-togethers give Love’s Farm Community Association (LFCA) committee members, Street Reps, councillors and residents a chance to chat, share a drink and discuss how we can make Love’s Farm an even better place to live. Check out the What’s On page or follow LFCA and Love’s Farm House on Facebook for the next date and for all upcoming events.
